Canada Day 2025

We had a successful Canada Day this year thanks to the co-operation of the weather. We give a big Thank you to… • Family Bakery for again donating the bread dough and Randy Schmidt & crew for baking that excellent bread and Cinnamon buns which were enjoyed by many. • The merchants of Nipawin for their generous donations of items for our Silent Auction. • The musicians who gave up their time on a Holiday to play music for us to enjoy. • All the ladies who donated tasty pies for the Pie Booth • IGA for donating French Fries • Percy Halliwel and George Gazuk who travelled from Prince Albert to prepare and run our Stationary Engines. • Lyle Black and son, Hayden for running the Rope Maker • Kelly Low ,Ryan Low and Kim Schuster for operating the Grist Mill. • Vivian Johnson and her crews for running the kitchen, preparing food for your enjoyment. • Ella Nelson and her crew for looking after the Pie Booth • The Nipawin Air Cadets for manning the gates and taking part in the Flag Ceremony • Verda Hoppe for singing O Canada • Edgewood Lumber from Carrot River for donating a semi-load of saw logs. • And, a Special Thanks to all the museum people & volunteers who help make Canada day a special day for Nipawin. • Finally a Thank you for all the people who turned out to support the Nipawin Forestry Museum. Your support goes a long way to help keep the museum operating. Chairperson Chuck Low
